International Students

The International Student Program is a valuable component within the community of Cole Valley Christian Schools.  We find it a privilege and honor to shepherd students from different nations as they attend CVCS. In the rich history of our International Student Program, we have served students from Brazil, Korea, China, Thailand, Mexico, South America, Africa and Germany.

Our programs’ success is due, in large part, to leadership. Our Director of International Programs, OkHee Chang, has an unwavering passion for students of every nationality. She desires that they have a rich cultural and educational experience at CVCS. International students are placed in the traditional classroom setting and receive the same high level of attention as traditional students.

Where are we located?  Idaho! -- Boise, Idaho, provides a rich environment for International students. Some facts about Idaho:

·       Boise is the 3rd safest city in the United States (quick facts about Boise Valley)
·       Home to multiple libraries and museums
·       Established charter schools - nationwide recognition as city of education
·       Over 90% of students in the Boise/Meridian school districts go on to higher education after graduation from high school – higher than national average
·       Idaho State Capitol building is built like Washington, DC national Capitol building (one of 5 in United States)
·       More corporations than other cities - per capita
·       Most millionaires - per capita

For those interested in attending CVCS as an International student, please refer to the 'Admissions Process' tab to the left. Please note the following:

Cole Valley Christian Schools is a private, Christian school. All of the administration team, teachers, staff, and most of the students are Christians. In all of our classes we either study the Bible and Christian issues or we have incorporated biblical principles into the curriculum. We have daily Bible classes and a weekly Chapel. Students do not have to be Christian in order to attend nor will students be pressured to become Christians. However, the Christian message is a part of our school life so students must be willing to learn about Jesus, the Bible and the biblical worldview.
