Our Secondary Campus is located on Carlton Avenue in downtown Meridian and houses grades 7 through 12.
We define academic excellence as challenging each student to reach their fullest potential in preparing them for college or wherever God calls them to. Our students participate in the nationally normed NWEA MAP test as well as the ACT and SAT, and consistently score above the national, state, and local averages of other public schools in the Treasure Valley. CVCS consistently has National Merit scholars and finalists among its student body. Students participate each year in a variety of academic competitions such as the Idaho National Laboratory Scholastic Tournament, Idaho History Bee, and Math Counts. Student Academic Services staff on both campuses partner with parents in assisting students with both special learning needs and giftedness.
CVCS participates in the Idaho High School Activities Association 2A conference and competes in the 2A Western Idaho Conference (WIC). Junior and senior high students participate in boys football, girls volleyball, boys and girls basketball, girls cheerleading, as well as co-ed cross country, track, and ski teams. We strive for excellence in being a witness to the community through our athletics. We also offer opportunities to participate in our award winning choirs, band, worship teams, or student government.
