🏆 Chargers Go Back-to-Back as SRV Softball Champions

Back-to-back champions.

The Cole Valley Christian Chargers softball have once again claimed the Snake River Valley District Championship, defeating Weiser 12–6 in a high-energy, statement performance.

From the very first pitch, the Chargers came out focused and ready. Even after falling behind 2–0 in the third inning, this team never wavered. They responded immediately with a three-run inning fueled by clutch hitting, aggressive baserunning, and relentless pressure—and from that moment on, they never gave the lead back.

In the circle, the Chargers set the tone early, while the offense continued to build momentum throughout the game. On the bases, Cole Valley created constant disruption, forcing mistakes and keeping the defense on edge.

Several standout performances fueled the win:

  • Gianna Maniaci created chaos on the basepaths, using her speed to consistently apply pressure
  • Abbie English delivered in key moments with timely, clutch at-bats
  • Brinkley Lauderdale launched a two-run home run in the sixth inning, igniting the dugout
  • Lauren Cols added to an already historic season with her 25th home run, continuing her pursuit of the Idaho single-season home run record

Weiser mounted a late push in the seventh inning, cutting into the lead, but the Chargers remained composed and closed out the game to secure the victory.

This championship is a reflection of the culture being built within Cole Valley Christian Schools athletics—one defined by resilience, teamwork, and a commitment to excellence.

Winning one title is difficult. Winning two in a row speaks to something deeper.

Back-to-back SRV Champions. And still building. đź”µâšˇđźĄŽ
