Once you have completed steps 1-5 listed above, CVCS will review the file(s) and you will be added to the waiting list. Once space is potentially available, we will contact you to schedule the next steps in the Admissions process, which are:
1. Complete Assessment Testing at CVCS:
- Kindergarten – 5th grade – approximately 1 hour – with grade-level teachers
- 6th – 12th grade students – approximately 2 hours – reading & math assessment and writing sample
2. Administrator Interview:
The parents/guardians of applicants must participate in a personal interview conducted by a school administrator. The interview will be scheduled once all required documents are received and all testing is complete. Students applying for admission to 6th – 12th grade will also be interviewed.
IMPORTANT:
*GPA Required for Admission: At the Secondary Campus, a 2.0 minimum GPA is required for admission. Students who fall below this minimum may be considered, but only after an Educational Consultation with Administration has taken place, followed by additional academic testing.
*Learning Differences- If your student has a diagnosed learning difference, ADD/ADHD, has had/currently is in speech/language therapy, please contact the Admission Office before completing an application.
