Extended Care

Cole Valley Christian Schools is pleased to offer a safe, structured, before and after-school program supervised by licensed caregivers. The program serves CVCS students who are enrolled in Early Childhood through 5th grade. It is designed for those needing before and/or after-school care daily or occasionally. Extended Care is also available on early release and on non-school days.

Operating hours are 7:30-8:00 a.m. and 3:40-6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

** Early Childhood Care morning hours:  7:30-8:20 a.m. This is located in the early childhood building.

*** Early Childhood - Preschool will be joining extended care after school, half days and non-school days.  Located in Modular 1A.

Half Day Information:

  • Time:  12:30pm – 6:00pm
  • An email will be sent out to sign up to reserve a spot. 

Non-School Day Information:

  • Time:  7:30am – 6:00pm

  • An email will be sent out to sign up to reserve a spot.

  • No show rate applies if 24 hours' notice is not given.
  • Requires a minimum of 8 students to attend – subject to close otherwise.  (To ensure we maintain State of Idaho adequate staffing guidelines)
Students from the secondary campus who ride the bus in the morning and afternoon who have siblings at the elementary campus:

  • · A.M. – Students that are riding the bus from the elementary to the secondary: If they have an elementary-aged sibling that needs to use the Extended Care program, there will be no charge from 7:30-7:55.

  • · P.M. – Students that are riding the bus from the secondary to the elementary: If they have an elementary-aged sibling that needs to use the Extended Care program. This will be free of charge until the bus gets here. The student needs to pick up the sibling(s) as soon as the bus arrives at the elementary and go to the foyer of the church to wait for parents. Students should not stand outside in the front because of safety reasons. They are not allowed to wander around the school including the kitchen, hallways, gym, and outside.
  • If for some reason the student did not ride the bus, please let extended care know since there will be a charge.
