Charger Adventures

Charger Adventure Fees:

• Registration fee: $55.00 per student (includes CVCS staff kids).

Program Rates:

• Full Day $40 (over 5 hours)
• Half Day $30 (under 5 hours)
• No show/No call: $40 (Cancellations must be made 24 hours prior, on the Charger Adventures cancellation calendar. We will not accept any email, verbal or phone call cancellations.)

Late Fees  
A late fee will incur for those students not picked up by 6:00 p.m.  The fee is $5.00 for every 10 minutes after 6:00 p.m. along with the normal rate. This will be added to your monthly invoice. 

A.M. and P.m. Snacks/Lunch/Water Bottle/Cinch Bag  
We request no nuts or peanut butter in snacks or lunches; however, we are not a nut free program. 

Please send along morning and afternoon snacks in your student’s lunch.

Students get really hungry so please send a lot of healthy food like, protein bars, cheese sticks, fruits and vegetables. 

We will be accepting warm-ups that take no longer than 3 minutes to warm up. 

Please bring a water bottle each day with the student's name on it.

Cinch Bag – Bring a cinch bag not a backpack because of space.

Reading   
Students need to bring a book each day with their name in it. We can also store their book in our book box. 

Important Notices/Communication   
You will receive an activity calendar each month that will inform you of special activities, field trips, classes, etc. for the month. The Charger Adventures newsletter will be emailed each week. This will have a wrap up from the current week and let you know what is coming up the following week, so you can be prepared for each event. This is our main communication, so it is important you read both each week! 

Electronics/Items from home   
Please do not bring electronics.

Toys from home   
Students can bring toys or items from home to share with the rest of the students, with the understanding we are not responsible for loss or damage. 

Early Childhood Students Full Day for Rest Time  
Students will need to bring the appropriate bedding. We prefer a style of bedding the students can manipulate themselves. Nap Mat's are a style of bedding that we encourage. A Nap Mat is a one-piece roll-up sleeping mat with a blanket, and pillow attached which can be purchased on Amazon or other retailers.

The purpose of discipline is for growth (Hebrews 12:11). 
We desire to develop the whole person for the glory of God. 

While enrolled at Charger Adventures, all students are expected to exhibit the qualities of a Christ-like life supported and taught by the school and to refrain from certain activities or behaviors.

➢    We look for, saying “please”, “thank you”, eye contact, responding appropriately to staff when called, etc.

Behavior Policy: 
Most classroom behaviors will be handled by the teacher. If an inappropriate behavior continues, the director will contact the parents. A plan of action, in partnership with the parents, will be implemented with the goal of helping the student respond in an appropriate manner. More serious behavior will be handled by the administration. Any student whose consistent conduct or attitude demonstrates a continuing opposition to the basic principles, may be asked to withdraw from the Charger Adventures Program. 

Illness Policy/Medications:

All students must be fever, vomit, and diarrhea free for 24 hours before returning to Charger Adventures. Please do not use Tylenol or other fever-reducing medications to reduce your student’s fever for the day and attend Charger Adventures.

If your student needs medication during program hours, we need to put together a treatment plan. We will administer the medication, per parent or doctor’s written instructions.

• Registration Fee must be paid with Registration Packet
• Summer charges will be billed through FACTS Incidental Billing:
• You can check charges throughout the summer by accessing your account online through Family Portal.
• Invoices will be sent on the 5th of the month - due on the 15th of the month.
• Incidental payments should be set to auto pay, and you may use a checking/savings account or credit card for auto payments. You may also pay earlier by manually processing a payment.
