Last Week of School Office Hours
The Secondary campus office will be open 8:00 - 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 21 through Thursday, May 23, and 8:00 - 12:00 noon on Friday, May 24. Elementary campus office hours are 8:00 - 4:00 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, 8:00 - 1:00 p.m. Thursday, and 8:00 - 4:00 Friday.

6th Grade Graduation May 22
Ceremony will take place at 7:00 p.m. in the Elementary Campus Auditorium.
Congratulations to CVCS Sophomore Graysen Huff on winning the boys 5A state golf championship!
He is a member of Eagle High School's Golf team which won the team championship plus he shot a 143 over 2 rounds to win the individual 5A championship.
Kindergarten Graduation May 22
Ceremony will take place in the Auditorium at the Elementary Campus at 10:00 a.m.
Tom Murach Flag Line and Service
It is with heavy hearts that we remember Spc. Thomas Paige Murach, CVCS class of 2009, who was killed by a road-side bomb explosion in Afghanistan on May 4 along with four other soldiers. A memorial service will be held at Capital Christian Center in Meridian on Monday, May 20, at 1 p.m. This service is open to the public.
Our school has been contacted by The American Legion Riders. They would like to join us in honoring Tom and his service to our nation. We will be creating a "flag line" that will line the entry to Capital Christian Center where Tom's service will be held. We would like to have as many students and parents, alumni, and any others who feel led to honor him. Every person will need a flag. If you have a 4x8 flag and pole (standard household size) then please bring it. If you would like to have us supply a flag for you, please contact me and we will be happy to supply as many as your family needs. Please plan to meet at Capital Christian Center by 11:45. We will take a bus of students as well. After discussing this with your family, and it is decided that your high school child would like to be a part of this and ride the bus over there please contact me. I must hear from you via email in order for your student to be excused from school to ride the bus over. Please contact me no later than Saturday evening, in order to get an accurate count for the bus. The bus will leave the school at 11:30 and return to the school after the service. If they can drive themselves, you will need to contact the school to excuse them. If you have a junior high student that would like to be a part of this we are asking that a parent accompany them, driving them from and to the school. Please make sure that your child is dressed in appropriate attire. If you have any further questions I will be happy to answer them.
