Mission of Charger Blue

The mission of the Charger Blue Athletic Booster Club is to provide financial support and help raise the excellence of all CVCS Athletic Programs.
To do this, Charger Blue works to:

  • Raise funds for all the CVCS athletic programs
  • Activate the CVCS community - Build an active fan community and facilitate cross promotion and support for all teams.
  • Build and maintain CVCS traditions - Promote sportsmanship and maintain a standard of excellence for all student athletes at Cole Valley Christian Schools, K-12.
  • Communicate well - Encourage communication, involvement, and school spirit between the student,  athletic department, CVCS Charger athletes, and booster club members.

PURPOSE of Charger Blue

The Charger Blue Athletic Booster Club exists to assist the CVCS athletes in glorifying Jesus Christ through their growth and participation in CVCS athletics. 

About Charger Blue
The Charger Blue Athletic Booster Club (Charger Blue) is a volunteer organization. While operating as a stand alone fundraising and support body, we are part of the 501(c)3 of Cole Valley Christian schools as a not for profit organization.

Charger Blue Executive board - This group consists of people selected from CVCS parents or alumni parents who want to govern, lead, and oversee the activities of Charger Blue. The CVCS Athletic Director is an ex officio member of the board.

Committees - This group will consist of any Charger Blue members or CVCS coaches who want to push forward the activities and initiatives of Charger Blue. These committees will be chaired by executive board members.

General Membership - This group will consist of anyone who joins Charger Blue through buying a season pass, or investing as a sponsor of Charger Blue.

How Charger Blue has helped the athletic department in recent years

  • Purchased uniforms for every High School, Middle School, and Elementary programs
  • New equipment for all High School programs
  • Upgraded the sound system in the gym
  • Overhauled the weight room and the training room
  • Help pay for an athletic trainer
  • New helmets for the football program
  • Individual program "culture money" to be used at the coaches discretion
  • Assist with post season banquets
  • Senior gifts for all graduating athletes
  • External engagement including social media graphics
  • Large individual team photos
  • State Championship gifts
  • And SO MUCH MORE!

Golf Tournament

The annual Charger Blue Golf Scramble occurs as the main fundraiser in September. All proceeds from the scramble go to support our student-athletes by giving them the tools and facilities they need to succeed. Every CVCS sport benefits from this fundraiser. Over the past years, Charger Blue fundraising has provided multiple sports, from elementary to varsity, with new equipment, new team uniforms, and an updated weight room for the entire school! 
Your generosity can occur through:

  • Golfing in the event
  • Sponsoring the event 
  • Donating items for prizes, raffles, and the online auction.
  • Volunteering the day of the event
